Isn't it fascinating how we are the result of only a handful of generations of mankind and each of our ancestors must have lived through black death, genocide, freezing winters, draughts and so on, to always live at least long enough to reproduce? It’s fascinating how resistant the human being is... That's what "Ancestors" is about. I used binaural beats trying to drill and instil this amazing fact in the listener’s head. Just think about the amount of people that have survived human history with your genes, just so that you can now be where you are. The chorus melody is a lullaby my mum often sung to me when I was a kid. It's a bit like "Scarborough Fair" but hey...

With their mind full of love and hope in their descendants, they gave their lives to the future, independent of it being seen or not, ignored or applauded. As long as we'd remember that we've always been supported, they didn't mind to be forgotten. What keeps us alive is the love of our ancestors.
