"Cannes" is about Cannes, this place in the South of France where tons of film industry people like myself get together every year to close film deals, network and watch movies. It's not like it's not fun, but it's also a bit of a sad place. It's also a nod to one of my ex-bosses and mentors in the industry, who I'm very thankful to for many reasons. Musically speaking it's based on a fingerpicking guitar part that I composed in my teens. Yeah, nothing new really.

This is where they splash... Where the sunrays make rolex watches flash. It's like a constant party crash.

I'm shaken not stirred from having my voice heard and drowned by the crowd and cunts. Yeah, It feels good to be proud at once... To have earned the spot that I yearned for once, with a pillow and a silenced gun. Though this is what I burned for, it's a little loud in Cannes. At least wiith that ejection seat in action. You're my Q, leaving all gadgets in my section, but the spy cam's set on you! Zoom in on that poisoned pen, ultra HD fisheye lens! I'm off the boat like Off The Fence.
